X Marks the Bökship closed for Harvesting during July and August
Cancelled Crop, 1969, Dennis Oppeneheim
X Marks the Bökship will be closed during July and August 2012 to work on an archiving project about the shop and to spend time in nearby fields.
If you would like to buy books during this time they are being gradually uploaded to buy online here: http://bokship.org/shop.html
If you would like to visit the space before it closes, the shop is open today until 6pm with a book launch tonight of Gradations of Time over a Plane by artists Mariana Caló & Francisco Queimadela from 6.30 – 9pm.
The Bökship will reopen again with an event on Thursday 6 September 2012.
The opening party will be on Saturday 8 September 2012.
If you are in Berlin, today is the last day to see the XARCHIVE reading room at Gerichtstrasse 52a. Open 2pm – 7pm. The XARCHIVE is an ongoing project documenting the history of X Marks the Bökship and includes copies of the books that have been launched at the shop.
Enjoy your summer and see you soon
