The Piracy Papers are a series of printed pamphlets with material previously published on the internet, as well as personal correspondence or essays that have been written specifically for us in connection with our research around books, authorship and how we relate to the work of others.

*The Junk Ships on Alibaba* is a short story by Joanne McNeil, describing a series of encounters with different types of counterfeit cultures around the world and their interaction with digital technologies.

The Erotic Book Club is back!
Reading TAMPA by Alissa Nutting

Hello pervs!
Yes, it’s us: your lovable Erotic Book Clubbers! We know it’s been ten dreary months without us, but don’t despair: we are here to inject some filth into your life once more. We’ve rested, regrouped and are back with a bang. Firstly, our next meeting will be Thursday 27th February 2014. Come along at 8pm and bring wine and nibbles.

February 2014: TAMPA by Alissa Nutting
Published last year, this is definitely a book to really get the EBC started again! Filled with filthy prose and a subject matter that is sure to spark debate, TAMPA “is a grand, uncompromising, seriocomic examination of want and a scorching literary debut.”

Clever Men’s Art is a googled collection of artist statements, reviews and portraits.
Clever Men’s Art is a response to the fact that the art world gladly incorporates feminism, immaterial labour, care work, unprofessionalism, anti-hierarchical structures, institutional critique and everyday aesthetics as long as they are authored by men.

Clever Men’s Art Clever Men’s Art exposes the art world’s mechanism of endorsement as empty, ridiculous, repetitive, megalomaniac and boring phrases: A system of mutual self-validation in which a harmless and anticipated criticality is the token exchanged.

Clever Men’s Art is a joke about Clever Men’s Art.

Clever Men’s Art is edited by Rosalie Schweiker and Maria Guggenbichler.
