The Mock and other superstitions
Launch of ISSUE 2 – Anecdotes as new theory
The Mock and other superstition is a quarterly journal exploring the relation of artists, writers and curators with written words.
The new issue includes contributions by Olivier Castel, Alex Cecchetti, Michael Dean, Marcelline Delbecq, Sarah Elliott, Simon Fujiwara, Charlotte Moth, extracts from Matteo Terzaghi and Marco Zürcher’s book Da qualche parte sulla Terra and F/M’s hand-written interpretation of Pierre Guyotat’s Body of the Text.
In occasion of the launch, Simon Fujiwara will read an excerpt from his erotic story Meat Curtains (Cortinas de Carne).
Olivier Castel will also show a slideshow of images called ‘graves’, from his archive.
At the same time (and during the entire weekend) Eleanor Brown and Conor Donlon will present their selection of books in conjunction with the final week of FormContent’s It’s not for reading. It’s for making.
Sunday April 5th at Donlon Books / X marks the Bökship (210/Unit 3/Cambridge Heath Road, London) – from 6.30 to 9pm
